Der iBobber kann sich wirklich sehen lassen
Tantas dificuldades, me ajudaram muito a decidir por um sonar fixo, embora não seja agradável para mim.
Deeper, the only one you can read what is hapening, BAAM looses
What were your thoughts on the ibobber I have it and love it
IBOIBBEAOB
It would be helpful if you
Wish I could've seen this vid before. I recently bought the fish finder pro n having issues with the app. I haven't been able to see any fish. Tried adjust the settings n I know the depth isn't correct. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Bluetooth 4 dot O lol
I might not like the outcome but Great review
Great video. I'm trying to decide between the Fish Hunter and the iBobber as a gift for my husband. Are you aware of any improvements on either since you made this video? How has your's held up over the last 4 years? Thanks.
So I have the Deeper Pro + - there is a new CHIRP model that probably would be the best bet. It held up pretty well, some glitches with the software here and there so it hasn't been a flawless experience...but they are really cool if you want to be totally mobile.
I bought the deeper pro+ IT IS CRAAAAP Anyone claming its the best unit dosent know what they are talking about. 1. IT LOSES CONNECTION ALL THE TIME 2. IT ONLY WORKED FOR 2 HOURS THEN STOPPED SCANNING 3 NO WAY OF REBOOTING THE DEVICE IT WAS ON UNTIL IT DRAINED ITS OWN BATTERY 4. IT DOES NOT FLOAT WELL BEHIND YOUR BOAT IT IS DROWNING IN THE WATER ALL THE TIME CAUSING IT LOOSE CONNECTION, EVEN THE TINIEST LITTLE WAWE THAT WILL GO OVER IT WILL CAUSE CONNECTION LOSS 1 METER (3 FEET) AWAY! 5. THE APP IS CRAP 6. YOU CANT DECIDE HOW DEEP IT WILL SCAN WICH MEANS THAT IF IT IS 60 METERS DEEP YOU WONT BE ABLE TO TELL IF IT IS FISH OR DISTURBED SIGNALS. I have been fishing on boat with fishfinder sonars for 15 years and know how they work very well. Bought this for my country side house to youse on a little boat we have there. It made me crazy! It is a costly peace of shit! I promise you DO NOT BUY! WARNING! Anyone claming this is good is talking shit they are PAID to say so.
That's a lovely rant. Thank you so much, the caps in particular. I still use mine, and yes they have their issues and limitations but for a portable item they work pretty decent.
say, which phone were you pairing with them?
Looks like a waste of time
I've got the Lowrance Fish Hunter Pro really came in useful I enjoy the 3-D fish mode and the sound lower thought it was perfect for Dragon beside my kayak
Im looking into buying that one but no stores near me sell it
Very good job, thank you
I would like to pull one around a pond with a rc boat
I did that with the ibobber... The$40 rc boat had a way farther ranger that the ibobber has
I wonder if they will work in a heated dock crappie fishing
Can I have the deeper since it lost?
Please
God, online beggars are such a pain.
*I am more than pleased>>>**allabout.wiki/9q2z** I was looking at a basic, and much cheaper, version but glad I went with this one. The gps mapping feature is incredible and allows you to go back through the history to see everywhere you have been. Throwing it out the first time made me a little nervous, but no issues at all. I have a leader line attached for quick swapping a bait onto the line after reeling it in*
I dont think so, i bought ibobber its not working properly always out of water, thats why i return it and buy deeper smart its accurate and i dont have a problem with the connection
Ridiculous review
Tremendous feedback!
@@RichCollinsThirstProductions okay maybe i was a little harsh......😀
I wish these come with their own LCD panels, since I might drop my phone in the water
Where's the enjoyment gone out of fishing.
I have one but I agree with you. It's just as lazy as baiting deer.
deeper is the best if the best
Seems kinda off considering that you claim the ibobber does all that? Mine and everyone else's just doesn't work period... Even being 0.1 inches from a phone
The FlushHunter Pro SUCKS. Very unreliable. Most of the time it won't connect, and when it does, it shows incorrect depth. Why spend $200 for a POS sonar that when in 4ft of water shows 27ft?
Excellent review man, lots of time and money invested. Why aren't you still producing videos?
All work no glory...
All the lip smacking was driving me crazy
so very helpful. Thanks.
I just picked up a garmin striker 4 for 100 bucks. These type of fish finders will be a short lived gimic.
Well, any electronic toy is kind of gimmicky - but I disagree. I actually love the Deeper I own now becuase I can bring it in a duffel to a friends house, borrow their boat or kayak and have a fish finder on deck. Its super easy to use. Is it a replacement for a "real" fishfinder, not really. But it is actually nice to have if you like electronic toys. The GPS, water temps, and trip recording is nice to have on my phone too. I use it with Navionics Boating app to find structure.
@@dangerous8333 surely you're not paid by ibobbler, obviously not.
All of the bobber style fish finders are a bunch of China garbage. No device that connects to your phone is going to be reliable. Its a phone not a fish finder.. Do yourselves a favor and get a Humminbird PIRANHAMAX 4.3, or a HawkEye Fish Trax. Those will save you money and headache. The lowrance elite 3x is portable also. Fishingsir sells a bobber style unit that comes with its own device with a screen. Gets way better reviews than any of the 3 tested here.
I'd agree - go with a standard fish finder if you have a boat you use regularly. They are what they are - the incorporation to the phone is pretty amazing but they are not really a replacement for a traditional unit.
Also correct on many fronts. It is what it is, it's a very cool toy that adds to the fishing experience. It does more than a traditional fishfinder by far, but its focus isnt entirely on spotting fish - GPS, Maps, versatility, ability to cast, ice fish, etc.
Lol. When did I say everything made in china is junk? I said these particular items are junk. I don't need credentials man. Read some reviews on these products. The drop connection, stop working and can be a lot of trouble. Just because your in I.T. doesn't make you an expert on all things electronic. You don't know me, you have no clue what I know, or what i do for a living. I don't work In I.T thats for sure, I couldn't afford to live on those small paychecks. The fact that you think an iPhone is so wonderful should discount your credibility on this subject.
One issue I have with the iBobber was the Android app would disconnect all the time. I got an old iPhone and tried that and the disconnect issues went away.
I think he was using android.?
the deeper pro plus is Wi-Fi (self generated access point) and has a number of other improvements. I've towed mine in a kayak while under power from a 24 lb thrust motor. Still worked.
I now have a Deeper Pro + with the kayak arm and it works pretty darn well on a kayak. I bring it with me when I visit my friends on different lakes and take out their yaks and canoes. The Pro+ definitely works better than the one I tested.
Lip smacking and teeth suckin good
Very helpful, thank you. I will be sure to hire an actor next time.
Thank you so much for this informative video great job
I have an iBobber and it's awful. Constantly loses connection. Got a new phone and it seems to work a little better but still awful. Useless in any water less then 8ft. I think it works good in deep water though, reads much better and realistic. But the connection loss is a huge problem almost rendering it useless. Rather cast more then try to make the stupid thing work.
I'm going with the ibobber it's cheaper and does the same damn thing who cares how great the mapping looks all I need is depth and fish located why waste a extra 250$ when you can spend 100 for the same crap my ibobber works fine people amaze me when they want a portable fish finder to work like a expensive one you'll find on a boat
I just bought a cheap bluetooth fish finder in aliexpress, 33 usd, does exactly the same thing
I like my ibobber to
I use a 150$ hummingbird from Walmart,it works plenty good
what cord did you use to hook on to the deeper
If I recall I was either using the Fish Hunter Cord - which was just red nylon or a piece of 20lb test.
Thanks
I have a deeper pro, have you tried it? my pro with the wifi loses connection all the time, so frustrating you pay 240$ and it disconnects constantly
I tried the Pro + - the top of the line model -which i really had no issues with the WiFi - it worked really well, until the battery stopped working that is, now it does pretty much nothing, unfortunately. So I can't seem to get one that functions correctly, long term.
Rich Collins that is not good news, as much as they cost they should be flawless, good luck in the future
Update - the manufacturer replaced my unit no questions asked so I am back in action. So far the Deeper Pro + is serving me very well - got a couple days on the ice and even on the kayak.
3 yewrs late but for those that have this issue, Switch off the smart switch option on your phones wifi... does the same with drones etc
My Ibobber is having major disconnect reconnect issues. I've tested it at home and it will drop connection at 27 feet, when I try it in the lake I can not get it to sync even 5 feet away from me. Now your Bluetooth device decides the distance you will be able to connect some phones may get better distance than others. I have a IPhone 5S Bluetooth 4.0 I use with my Ibobber. The claim it will connect up to 100 ft isn't true for IPhone 5S. Support has been good trying to help me out if you want the faster response message them on FB they will hit you up pretty fast. For a bank fishing with 4.0 Bluetooth I would say don't waste your $99. Learn the read the land scape and improve your skills at finding fish in your area or get a boat and maybe the Ibobber will be of better use.
Update: I got my hands on a Deeper Pro+ which is the top of the line Wifi model. I've taken it out ice fishing a number of times and disconnects are *not* an issue so I may have either been using the older technology or I had a truly defective unit. I will try to produce a review just of the new Deeper in the very near future. It has been great on the ice so far.
However the battery stopped working after about 2 months. It's a terrific product, if and when it works....
However the manufacturer sent me a spanking new unit when I explained my issue - so I am back in action.
Do you have these still should I ask for it for my birthday I want the deeper which one do u think I should get do u think the disconnects will happen as bad on the ice or casting from shore
The old deeper did have known connection issues they changed it and I have seen much better reviews for the plus and chirp plus models the basic deeper everyone says it’s just basic and not very good.
Yea i have a deeper start. Never helped me catch a fish. Any fish. In many years and thousands of hours fishing.
Great review. So unfortunate that the disconnects are so prevalent. Even with Wifi
Awesome comparison video...New sub + thumbs up... If you get a chance to check out or subscribe to my channel, I'd really appreciate it.
On the Ibobber what do those orange numbers on the fish mean?
Those are the depth the 'fish' is seen at.
The color means under 15". Green is over 15"
I have a Deeper PRO+ and my friend has a fish hunter. He is selling it now and gonna buy Deeper. I think Fish hunter paid you for this review...
I think I had a bad Deeper - but no one paid me a thing.
And this is not a Pro Plus.
Buy a pro+
The shallow issue with the ibbober is limitation of the sonar, I believe deeper has it listed in their documentation as well, where it won't function correctly in waters less than 5 feet deep. I asked the ibbober people about this when I noticed it on mine as well.
Yes there is a small water limit. The FishHunter has a shallow water setting but it still doesnt respond well in less than 4 feet. The ibobber has a tendency to spot fish at 1ft on choppy water I noticed.
if you get a replacement Deeper please share a review. loved the showdown. it really help me with a future purchase
Maybe they will send me a Deeper that works :) I paid for all these myself...no sponsorships. No Bias.
Yeah can you let us know if you got a new one I was looking to buying the deeper, your convincing me otherwise so keep us posted
